Information is stored by us on computers located in the United Kingdom. However, please be aware that your information may be transmitted via or stored on cloud based computer systems that may use servers outside the UK or the European Economic Area.
We place a great importance on the security of all personally identifiable information associated with our supporters, applicants and donors. We have security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of personal data under our control. While we cannot ensure or guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration of data will not occur while it is under our control, we will use our best efforts to try to prevent this.
Unfortunately, the transmission of data across the internet is never completely secure and whilst we take every measure possible to protect the security of your information, we cannot ensure or guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration of data will not occur whilst data is being transferred across the internet.
We will keep your information only for as long as we need it to provide you with the services or information you have required, to administer your relationship with us, to inform our grant/bursary decision making, or otherwise to comply with relevant laws in operation, or to ensure we do not communicate with people that have asked us not to.
Sharing your information
We will only share your information if we are legally required to do so, for example by an organisation legitimately exercising a legal power or if compelled to do so by an order of the Court, or with our legal or insurance providers as part of a litigation process.
From 2020 onwards we will be using MyClubHouse as our marketing automation platform. Please note that the information you provide us will be stored by MyClubHouse for processing in accordance with their privacy policy: https://www.myclubhouse.co.uk/Home/PrivacyPolicy. We regularly use Microsoft Office Forms to collect responses to questionnaires and we will also be using MyClubHouse to collect delegate details for events that we organise. Moving forward we will also be using MyClubHouse to help us manage our personal data. Please refer to their own privacy policy for additional information (a link is provided at the bottom of this page).
We also work with other partner organisations that may carry out work on our behalf or to carry out contractual obligations, for example event venues and IT specialists. The kind of work we may ask them to do includes processing information and processing subscription direct debit or card payments.

Grant Applicants and Recipients
We may share information submitted in applications for grants with assessors. We may share information with other grant giving charities to establish the identity of individuals for the purposes of preventing fraud or misuse of charitable funds. We will ask you to consent to this specifically when you make an application to the Association of District Nurse and Community nurse Educators (ADNE) for funds.

All emails sent by the system contain a tracking pixel. This is used to track whether each email has been opened by the recipient, and when. This information can be viewed by those users of the system with permission to view email delivery reports. We do not display any information regarding the location of the recipient. Note that the tracking pixel is only activated if the recipient chooses to download images into their email client.
